

I was looking at a photography magazine yesterday and there was a review on a new iPhone App called
DSLR Remote by "onOne", that lets you fire your camera from the iPhone. I was completely intrigued by it, not really cause I have a need for it, but just the fact it can be done! So basically you buy the app, then download some software to your computer, connect your camera to your computer via usb cable then the software creates communication from the camera to the phone through the wifi connection on the computer. It took me maybe 5 minutes to setup and walla! Crazy, if you buy the $20 version of the app instead of the lite $2 version you can have live view mode, and you can basically change any common setting on your camera like f-stop, shutter speed, iso, even white balance from the phone. Both versions give you a preview of images shot within seconds. It's pretty crazy that little iPhone...
