Chuck Close...

In case you dont know who this is, He is an artist named Chuck Close and he's one of my all time favorite contemporary artist. Last year when I was visiting a friend in Brooklyn we were checking out some galleries in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) and Chuck Close was coming down the street right at us. He was really cool, and let us snap a photo with him. I just came across it again and wanted to share it. The piece below is out of his Fingerprint series, yeah, he did the whole thing stamping fingerprints on canvas, ands its a huge 102 x 84".
